Junior Classes

Are you looking to enroll you child in a quality after school activity? The after school program allows young golfers of all levels the opportunity to work with teaching professionals in a fun, supportive and safe environment.

This one and a half hour program meets once a week for four weeks and focuses on the fundamentals of the game including basic swing technique, short game instruction and on course instruction. Young golfers are invited to practice their game under the supervision of our talented teaching professionals. A low student-to-teacher ratio allows for individual training and attention for all participants. We want to give a good introduction, model the correct techniques and let kids simply have fun. Skill refinement will come with age. The program is challenging, fun, safe and lead by the finest staff!

Winter after school program Student Evaluation System. Our teaching professionals will evaluate your juniors and determine the current abilities of your child. All new students to our program will be required to have this evaluation prior to class enrollment. Returning students will undergo this evaluation during the first after school session.

The Green Tee booklet is specifically designed for the beginner golfer and has hole lengths ranging from 45-85yds for a par three to 135-195yds for a par five.
The Yellow Tee booklet is the intermediate Personal Tee guide. This booklet is designed to immediately follow the Green Tee level of play. The lengths of the holes at the Yellow level range from 75-115yds for par 3's to 285-345yds for par 5's.
The Red Tee level booklet is designed to have the now-improving young golfer to play golf from the normal course red tee (or forward tee) markers. Course yardages for 9 holes should not exceed 2500yds at this level.
The Gold Tee booklet is designed to follow the Green, Yellow, and Red Tee booklets and targets a course length of 5,500 yards for 18 holes. While the previous three curriculums dealt with the overall concept of the full swing, the Gold Tee booklet will begin to hammer down some of the more technical concepts of a players game.
Tournament Player Tee Level Booklet. This book will focus on the swing and it will also introduce the serious junior to top notch junior competition.
Tour Player Tee Level Booklet. Within this level we will take the game of golf beyond learning a swing and competition. This book will demonstrate how important college education is and how golf can help him or her take their game to the college level.

The Don Law Golf Improvement Center
Welcomes You to Our Junior School Year Program

Extremely important changes have been made. Please read carefully and understand that we need to have your cooperation. Our program has grown tremendously and we must enforce these rules. If you choose to ignore these policies you risk the chance of losing your child’s spot in class.

Payments: Classes run for 4 weeks at a time. If your junior is going to continue in the next session you need to advise us and have payment in our office by the third week of your current session. This will hold a spot for your junior for the next session. There will be no exceptions!!! We have a very large waiting list of kids who want to join our program. One way to insure your child has a spot is to pay for three sessions in advance.

Save money...pay in advance for three sessions at $300 instead of $110 per session.

Pick up and drop off : Please be on time for drop off and most importantly pick up. Our professionals have lessons after class and cannot stay to supervise children being picked up late. If you are going to be late, be sure to call our office 451-1128 or range shed 483-4654 to advise us so we can advise your child. Your child will be waiting for you at the office trailer or range shed.

Call in when absent : You must call us if your child is not going to attend class on his/her scheduled day. If we do not receive a call there will be no makeup for that class and no refund.

Makeup’s : Makeup’s must be done within 4 weeks of absence. It is up to you to call and schedule makeups for your children. Please understand that it may not be with the same teaching professional. If you fail to do your make up no refund will be given.

Rainouts : CLASS IS ON RAIN OR SHINE. NEW for this season an indoor accelerated golf training program. We will have indoor learning facilities for golf swing activities. These activities have already been planned by our teaching professional staff in the event of inclement weather. Cancellations to classes will only occur in the event of severe weather such as tornado warnings, tropical storms or hurricanes. We will contact you in the event of a class cancellation due to these extreme weather conditions well in advance of the class.

PICK UP AND DROP OFF WILL BE AT THE FRONT OF THE CLUBHOUSE ENTRANCE IN THE EVENT INCLEMENT WEATHER CONDITIONS.

Dress code: Shorts, collared shirts, hats, and tennis shoes or golf shoes are recommended. NO DENIM!! Boys must have sleeved shirts.

Professionals: Each class is administered by PGA, LPGA, or Teaching Professionals. In an effort to keep abilities and ages similar within each group your child may get moved as the groups’ composition changes. With the child’s growing aptitude, the Professional that teaches your child is subject to change.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation,
