If your junior golfer has a little more experience and wants to take his game to the next level...Advanced Camp is the way to go. These camps are geared towards the golfer that plays for his/her high school team and/or local junior tours.
Specifically, golf offers the opportunity to teach lessons in integrity, honesty and sportsmanship, as well as, learning about tradition and honoring the rules of the game. In our Advanced Camp not only do we offer continuing reinforcement of these most important facets of the game, we teach the technical aspects of the game that are the important to players who want to learn how to score lower on the course and in tournament play.
Daily golf instruction includes the basics of drivers and woods, long and short irons, sand and pitching wedges, and putting. During Advanced Camp juniors will learn proper practice routines and techniques, shot and club selection, mental aspects of the game, visualization, on course management, specialty shots (high and low, curve the ball left to right and right to left, fairway bunkers, power fade, windy conditions, unusual lies, etc), distance control, short game analysis and skills testing.
Remember, Advanced Camp is for juniors, ages 10 to 18 years that are playing in tournaments and/or on the school golf team. The focus of this program is to build skills and confidence in your child.
All juniors interested in the advanced camp must meet certain criteria. Please call the office for more information. |
